Engines

MAIN ENGINE
This vessel has twin engines and not just any twin engines – Gardner twin engines. As you these engines have an outstanding track record for reliability and for burning very little fuel. The power is transmitted down to the propellers through the twin hydraulic gearboxes.

There is a port and starboard fuel tank supply the fuel to the engines.

Construction

This vessel may have been built in 1964 but it was built to last and it has had an excellent maintenance record. It has an annual survey from the MCA to allow it to operate in the United Kingdom. In January 2008 the MCA ran an ultrasound on 108 points and the minimum thickness of the steel was…………………….wait for it………………………15mm. No its not a misprint it actually has a 15mm thick steel hull.

Designed as a twin deck vessel with the Main Deck having 254 seating, the toilets and the Galley. The lower level has seating for a further 56 passengers and has an outstanding Bar. The vessel has had many functions on board and has an excellent record for entertainment of its guests.

The lower level also houses the engine room and the beer storage area. There is also a large store forward for whatever purpose you wish to use it for.
