Floating Hotel

Wright International Ltd can offer those looking for the ultimate luxury liveaboard, charter yacht or floating hotel. This boat was initially designed and built in 1997 as a 200 passenger boat. However, in 2002 the boat was completely rebuilt into a luxury floating hotel. The boat offers a saloon, dining room, galley and 5 large twin or double guest en-suite cabins. As well as this you have a further 3 twin berth crew cabins, a crew mess area and a laundry room. This is the perfect vessel for using in a permanent mooring or for cruising in rivers and canals. By having the twin 185hp Perkins diesels and a very strong bow thruster onboard, you can easily cruise in comfort and in style. Although the boat is coded and operating out of Ireland, the main clientele onboard over the years have been wealthy executives and celebrities from the USA. You too can now own this very unique vessel for a fraction of the costs required as a new build replacement.

Engines

The engines onboard this ship are twin Perkins Sabre 185M turbo charged 6 cylinder diesels producing approximately 185hp each. The engines in turn are coupled to shaft drives and have only around 3000 hours logged since new. The engines have been serviced and maintained on a regular basis and are very much in turn key condition.

To help with additional manoeuvrability, especially in close quarter manoeuvres such as berthing or lock gates etc, the boat has been fitted with a Perkins 4 cylinder 100hp direct drive bow thruster system.

As this boat was designed to be used both at sea and at a static mooring, the boat is equipped with 2 generators to provide additional electrical power. The generator are both Beta Marine water cooled gen sets in silent boxes. Geni No.1 – 19KVA 3 phase with 8,000hrs, Geni No.2 – 14KVA Single phase with 12,000hrs.

Construction

This boat was originally designed and launched in 1997 as a 200 passenger boat. In 2002 it was converted into the amazing floating hotel that you see today. However, both the initial design and the rebuild were both supervised by the Irish Department of Transport - Marine Surveyors Office and it was granted a P3 Passenger Licence on completion.

It is surveyed in and out of the water bi-annually by the Dept. Of Transport in Ireland in order to be granted its P3 passenger boat licence. It carries full life saving appliances and is equipped with a fire fighting and alarm system with its current licence due to expire on April 2010.

If you prefer however, this vessel can easily revert back to a profitable day passenger vessel carrying up to 200 passengers and it is capable of navigating all the great Rivers of Europe. As the boat has nine watertight sub-compartments, it should meet with any European Licence Authory standard without too many difficulties.

Accomodation

The accommodation onboard this ship is by far the main attribute on offer. The redesign caters for five en-suite guest cabins that can be configured either as twin or double cabins. Each cabin offers ample storage space, large opening windows, central heating and a bathroom never seen before on a boat of this size.

For relaxing together with your friends and family, new or old, then you have a large saloon and dining room the easily seats 10 guests in comfort. This area is attractively furnished and finished in light colours with six large opening windows making this a naturally bright area.

The galley was professionally designed as if it were indeed a hotel and as such, you have a very professional oven, fridges, freezers and dishwasher etc.

To help cater for guests staying onboard for a longer period of time, there is a laundry room with a new washing machine and dryer. You also have 3 very well appointed en-suite twin crew cabins, each with satellite TV and a small crew mess area.

As focal point, there are also two sundecks onboard. You have a small area located on the bow with a much larger fully furnished sundeck on the top deck.
