Engines

MAIN ENGINE
This vessel is powered by a single engine and a bow thruster to assist in manoeuvrability. The MAIN ENGINE is an in line 6 cylinder DAF DKZ 1160 A rated at 340 BHP (250kW). It was manufactured in 1991 and only has 1626 hours since it was installed.

The engine is a Schottel drive and it drives a Holland Roer Type HRP 200 gearbox with a 3.75:1 reduction. The gearbox was again new in 1992.

Construction

This vessel was manufactured in 1975 and being owned by a Dutch company was constantly uprated and modified to suit the changing contracts in the Marine industry.

The hull has a hull thickness of 7mm and the bottom plates are around 8mm thick. The vessel was updated in 1991 /92 and was fully overhauled in 2008. The vessel is now as you can see in a ready to go condition and is available now. It comes with a new certificates for inland waters.

Accomodation

When the vessel was being refurbished in 1992 the owners constructed a steel wheelhouse with aluminium windows. It was also considered appropriate to include full live aboard conditions for the crew. A Galley, Saloon and sleeping accommodation was installed. For convenience a Toilet and Shower was also installed.

For convenience there is access to the workstation on the starboard and it has an aluminium access door to allow you to service pumps and gen sets.

This vessel is fully fitted with all the equipment required to be used on most Harbour contracts. The equipment in the workshop includes:-
