Engines

This vessel has been designed to operate with twin inboard diesel engines. The vessel itself can either be a 9 m or 10m depending on what the customer wishes. At 10m the Manufacturer has suggested operating on twin Yamaha engines rated at 300 BHP each. This will allow the vessel to operate at up to 65 Knots when required and cruise all day at 45 knots. For fuel efficiency it could be dropped to twin 250BHP and would come down to a top end of around 55 Knots. The choice is yours.

The power can be sent down to either twin sterndrive units or to twin Jet drives as it is capable of accommodating either.

Construction

These RIBS are designed to be Manufactured in just 12 – 16 weeks from date of order and availability of the 10m Mould. The Mould can make 10m RIBS or it can be reduced to manufacture a 9m RIB. The manufacturer works with the customer to determine the level of fit out, choice of engine, selection of electronics and of course amount of safety equipment being provided.

Accomodation

This RIB has a forward Cabin where the Police can place anyone caught for their safety and protection until they return to shore. The forward cabin has full liveaboard for the two of a crew and has a built in Toilet, Galley and 2 berth/seating. The helm seats are full seats and not jockey seats as the vessel can operate at speeds where Jockey seats would not be practical.

Level of deck equipment is down to close communication with Manufacturer as the wide variety that can be installed is too extensive to list here.
