30M COASTAL PATROL – Wright International Ltd is working with Special Forces all over the world. MAIN ENGINES
The power for this vessel has come from the use of the high tech Caterpillar C32 ACERT engines. C32 ACERT MARINE ENGINE - Caterpillar is one of the most renowned manufacturers in the world and they have a complete range for you to consider. Wright International Ltd knows that it is possible for any company to gain worldwide credibility and respectability. However it is only through a planned and structure CPD (Continuous Product Development) that allows the company to stay at the top and forefront on a Global basis. CATERPILLAR has for 65 years produced some of the most innovative and technologically advanced machinery of any manufacturer in the world. through their extensive factory testing and development they have guaranteed their power and performance ratings.

ACERT Technology
Emissions regulations for machine engines are not new. The first went into effect in 1996, and Tier 2 regulations were applied in 2001. Those standards were met by adapting existing technologies, but the aggressive Tier 3 requirements dictated breakthroughs.
ACERT Technology represents a series of evolutionary and incremental improvements developed by Caterpillar. For example:
•The fuel system allows for multiple injections each combustion cycle. Small amounts of fuel are injected at precise times to achieve the combined goals of fuel economy and lower emissions.

•An advanced air system provides more cool air in the combustion chamber. A wastegate turbocharger provides excellent low-end response. In addition, crossflow cylinder heads provide a direct path of air to the engine.

POWER FACTOR
Power Factor is the ratio between Real Power and Apparent power. It is also the ratio between the resistive art of impedance and total impedance. Power Factor can be read directly with a power factor meter. It can however be calculated from voltage, current and power meter readings.

CATERPILLAR C 32 ACERT SPECIFICATION
This 4 stroke diesel Marine Propulsion Engine is a Vee 12 with 145mm bores x 162mm strokes cylinders producing a displacement of 1959 in or 32.1 Ltrs. The unit weighs approx 2547 - 3220kg.

Construction

As you can see by the design and specification of this vessel what separates Wright International Ltd from many other companies is the QUALITY of yards that we elect to work with. Many companies still look at the bottom line and the cheapest price, well we sympathise with them but Wright International Ltd will never put price before QUALITY. This vessel has CAT engines because they are designed to work all day every day and not fall to pieces. There are not many engine manufacturers who can make that claim.

Wright International Ltd is working with DEFENCE VESSELS all over the world where performance, reliability and quality stand out from the rest. This vessel is manufactured in marine grade aluminium and built to RINA Class. It has been designed to have all 14 Crew their own full liveaboard facilities. Ýt can also carry up to 38 Troops to their next destination. The troops can be deployed (and retrieved) from the 6.0m Rigid Infaltable Boat. As well as the worlds Naval requirement this vessel would also be ideal for use with:-

PAINT
Again placing quality and longevity before price the paint system used on the hull is complete International paint system. The antifoul is most important due to the speed of the vessel and that is International “Interspeed Ultra” which is designed to handle these speeds, without flaking off.

CLASS
Most of these vessels will appear in Government Bodies and will have their own Class requirements. However the manufacturers are building these vessels to RINA. This vessel is designed for Government Bodies and therefore has the option of Ballistic Protection and weapon systems as an addition to the standard non Government vessel.

Accomodation

This vessel is designed to be used on long Coastal deployment and this vessel has full liveaboard facilities for its 14 Crew. The seating has not been compromised as it is either RECARO OFFSHORE or NORTH SEA Helmseats. These seats have airmatic lumbar and pinomatic suspension system with multirail slide units.

As most of these vessels will be used in hot countries there is a WEBASTO air conditioning system on board to keep the air cool. This unit also doubles to keep the vessel warm in cold countries.

Decking Equipment

As with all our DEFENCE VESSELS the deck equipment has been kept to a minimum. This is not only for aerodynamics but also at the high speed the deck equipment has to be really secure or it simply flies off into the sea.

This is a COASTAL PATROL / FAST ATTACK VESSEL and it role is usually to come along side other vessels. To be sure of what they are coming alongside it is important to have a good quality and modern search light. This vessel is not only fitted with a 15, 000, 000 Candle power light it also has built in thermal imaging so you can who exactly is on board before boarding.

Underwater lights are also important so this vessel has 3 at the stern and 2 on the Port and 2 on the starboard.

Navigation Lights will be fitted according to Class
