Engines

This ocean going vessel is powered by a Mak 8M451AK that produces 1560kw @ 375rpm. This slow revving engine allows you to cruise at 12 knots and is coupled to a Hjelset NM-991 gearbox with a CP propeller.

Onboard are also 2 auxiliary engines onboard including a Mercedes Benz OM355 engine producing 160hp @ 1500rpm. You also have a Stamford MC434A generator producing 140kw @ 500rpm and a Stamford producing 100Kw @ 1500rpm.

The ship offers a fuel capacity of 96.10 ton and fresh water capacity of 45 ton.

Construction

This vessel was built at Sterkoder Mek Verksted A/S, Norway, in 1974. When the ship was launched, it was originally designed and built to DNV Ice Class * 1A. The ship has a refrigerated hold suitable for carriage of chilled cargo and offers 2 decks. The upper deck is open and suitable for containers or heavy equipment, the lower deck/shelter deck is completely enclosed and suitable for working or cargo.

The ship has a Gross Ton of 605.34 ton and a Net ton of 307.15 ton. The fish hold has a volume of 220m3.
