MAIN ENGINES
This vessel has a Global range and is capable of multitasking as it can also be used for fire fighting. All of which is great but requires one essential element to be a successful vessel and that is power. Power to power the pumps, power to provide a good working speed and power to supply the energy to keep the vessel working at sea for long periods of time.

That is why it is powered by twin V16 engines from Hedemora rated at an impressive 1840 BHP each at just 1360rpm. The power is transmitted down to the CPP propellers through the Ulstein 520 AGSC 4.63:1 Reduction gearbox.

Construction

There are copious amounts of vessels available on the Marine Market but there are few of such innate quality and versatility as this vessel. It was manufactured in 1982 in Singapore and it was decided to have it Classed by an Internationally acceptable Class and that is why it is now ABS + A1 (E) & AMS which is part of I.A.C.S. Ltd allowing it to be used in almost any port in the world.
