MAIN ENGINE
This vessel was manufactured in 2003 with the intention of using it around the world. That means the equipment used must be able to access spares readily when it next comes into port. That is why the designers investigated which engines would be the most reliable and strong enough to produce the Bollard Pull. What they came up with was twin Deutz SBV9M628 engines rated at 2750 BHP each. The power is sent down the shafts to the twin Berg Constant Pitch Propellers.

Ltd (International Association Classification Societies Ltd). This vessel manufactured in Malaysia is BV (Bureau Veritas ) and as such can operate in almost any port in the world for its owners.

Designed to offer a 77 TBP this FiFi 1 Anchor Handling Tug Supply also has a very useful Deck Capacity of 500 Tonnes with a designated 5 T / m2 Deck Load. The Clear deck measures 10m x 34m is covered with 76mm thick /hardwood. When you add in the 25 day endurance you realise this vessel is designed for serious operators and would make a serious valuable asset to any company.

Accomodation

It is a well proven fact that when you provide a vessel that looks after its Crew the Crew will look after your asset in return. This vessel has been designed to look after its Crew for up to 25 Days at time and having such a large Bollard Pull, means they will be in some of the wildest weather on their travels. That is why this vessel designed for a total of 28 persons has all the comforts of home.

The 16 Person Crew has the ability to have 12 Passengers or Scientists on board. There obviously has to be the basics like a galley that can feed the Crew for the period they are sea. It also has Laundry facilities, gymnasium, rest rooms, heads, showers, cabins etc designed to make the Crew appreciate their vessel.
