The nature of these vessels requires them by default to be fast and but they also have to be shallow draft to allow them to operate in rivers and harbours around the world. That is why this vessel with its twin 450 BHP engines are powered by waterjets. This allows the vessel to have a cruising speed of 40 knots and a maximum speed of 45 knots.

Construction

This vessel has been designed to be able to operate in any port in the world and that means it had to be constructed in such a way that it was easy to maintain. That is why this GRP vessel has been built for long life and easy maintenance. As it is also deisgned to be used in hostile work it has also kevlar built in to assit in protecting the brave men and women who protect our rivers and harbours.

The vessel has Pilot and co Pilot to work with the three troops who are there to protect the ships in the port. What makes this vessel special is the forward gun which is protected by its clever design. The wheelhouse has bullet proof glass and is also protected from small arms fire..
