Engines

MAIN ENGINE
These vessels are designed to cruise the rivers and canals of the world and we have pleasure in confirming it is powered by the ever reliable Volvo Penta D3 SX engine rated at 140 BHP. The new Volvo Penta D3 super diesel sterndrive is here – compact and filled with ultramodern engine technology. The new D3, is faster, more powerful, cleaner and quieter than its predecessor. And now it is also available with a joystick.

The new D3 is a completely new engine. Like its predecessor, the basic engine comes from the Volvo Car Corporation and is based on a 2.4 liter, 5-cylinder aluminum engine block with the very latest in engine technology. The new D3's emissions are in line with the very stringent US EPA Tier 3 regulations, which come into force in 2012.

To provide greater control on the rivers and canals you have an electric Bow thruster. This will allow the vessel to work in close quarter maneuvers with consummate ease.

A generator provides the power for lighting and on board entertainment when moored.

The vessel may only be 12m long and carry 34 passengers but it has been designed to provide quality air and room with a suitable air conditioning system.

Construction

These vessels are manufactured in Turkey and have been finished to a very high standard. The yard has an excellent reputation for producing quality GRP vessels and as you can see from the pictures have already produced some excellent vessels that can be viewed and test driven. The Naval Architect has taken cognisance of the fact they are marketing on a Global scale and that is where Wright International Ltd can be of assistance. The vessels themselves have been treated with epoxy and antifouling so they are ready to put to use for you. The majority of these vessels will be used in warm climates and the naval architect has incorporated coloured glass to keep out some of the suns rays as well as providing a very decorative finish. When you use these vessels you have to have some attraction to make the public want to use your service. That is why there is lighting around the boat to make it stand out as it carries the passengers to their next destination.

Everything about the vessel is designed with elegance and style and of course safety. The interior can be finished to suit the buyer and their corporate image. The seating by design is for 34 passengers and the general arrangement is for tables to be provided for the comfort of the passengers.
