Engines

The engine onboard this mulitcat workboat is a Ford 6D diesel engine. This engine produces around 120hp and as such is very economical to run. The engine is also very easy to service or repair without being covered in electronics like most modern engines now are.

The engine is not a standard shaft drive, instead you have a 360 degree Aquamaster drive unit. This allows far greater manoeuvrability and together with the hydraulic bowthruster onboard, this boat can manoeuvre in the tightest of spaces.

Decking Equipment

This is very much a multi-purpose workboat that has been used on fish farms, mooring contracts, construction contracts and civil engineering contracts. The owners have recently installed and tested a brand new Heila marine crane 7-2s at a cost of almost £30k.

As well as having this crane onboard, you also have 2 x 5 ton winches, oxy acetylene cutting burning gear, refuelling capability to 2000lts and a huge deck area for fetch and carrying equipment etc.
