Athletic Training, BS

The athletic training program leads to a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in athletic training. The athletic trainer is increasingly viewed as the expert in care of the physically active. Therefore, Wright State’s program prepares self-directed graduates who can function in a number of settings and work in collaboration with other health care professionals to coordinate and improve the health care of the physically active.

Athletic Trainers (ATs) are health care professionals who collaborate with physicians to provide preventative services, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions.
