Applied Mathematics, MS
The Applied Mathematics Graduate Program provides students with a thorough introduction to application oriented mathematics, preparing students for industrial employment or further graduate work.
A typical program of study includes courses in numerical analysis, computational mathematics, methods of applied mathematics, modeling, optimization, discrete mathematics, and probability and statistics. Coursework in an area of application, such as computer science, engineering , or physics is encouraged.
